Our Location in the Cotswolds

Our Cotswold holiday cottages and apartment are located in West End, a small hamlet in Broadway, in the Cotswolds National Landscape. Situated in grounds of several acres in the grounds of The Manor House, the cottages are just a few minutes’ walk from the centre of the village of Broadway.

Broadway is a picturesque Cotswold village known as the Show Village of England and Jewel of the Cotswolds. There’s plenty to explore right on the doorstep of our cottages with some great walks, beautiful gardens and country houses to visit. Broadway has a wide range of independent shops and galleries and some fine restaurants and tea and coffee shops to enjoy – all just a few minutes’ walk away.

The Manor House dates back to 1539 when it was built by the Sheldon family, our cottage guests are invited to enjoy the surrounding grounds including an old manorial stewpond, stream and ornamental pond which all attract a wide variety of wildlife. It is not unusual to see several families of ducklings in late spring/early summer in the grounds wandering between the ponds and stream. Our chickens and Indian Runner ducks roam amongst the trees in the orchard and our pet Dorset sheep and the occasional Gloucester Old Spot pig or two graze our paddock on the lane opposite our cottage, The Stables.

A Great Location for Walkers and Cyclists:

Walkers can enjoy the nearby Cotswold Way National Trail (Bath to Chipping Campden) and the Wychavon Way (Broadway to Droitwich Spa). Both cross our adjacent field and there are a number of other footpaths in the area to explore. For cyclists we can arrange cycle hire (including electric bikes) and have a secure cycle store for those hiring or bringing their own bikes.

A Great Location to Explore the Cotswolds:

Although are holiday cottages are rurally located we have an electric car (EV) charging point so that our guest with hybrid or electric vehicles can plug-in and charge their car whilst staying with us.

The cottages are within easy driving distance of many places to visit including other picturesque Cotswold villages and the nearby towns and cities of Stratford-upon-Avon, Cheltenham Spa, Worcester, Oxford and Bath. Our nearest airports are Birmingham and London Heathrow and nearest train stations, Moreton-in-Marsh or Evesham.
