For further information and history see: Fruit Farming in the Vale of Evesham until early 1930s - A brief history.

The 2009 Festival, opened by Trevor Harrison aka Eddie Grundy from BBC Radio 4's The Archers and author of Ode to the Pershore Plum, attracted more than 12,000 people.
