The Cotswold Voluntary Wardens offer some fascinating guided walks all year round in the Cotswolds AONB. The walks vary in distance and difficulty and are free of charge but donations are always very welcome. The guided walks offer an interesting and most enjoyable way to enjoy the Cotswolds. The colourful large papery petals of the annual Papaver somniferum made a wonderful display in the courtyard outside Willow, Corner and Sheldon Cottages this summer. The saucer-shaped blooms did not last long but they provided a great source of nectar for bees, hoverflies and other insects.
